Basement Jaxx Gotta say, on the new album, nothing has grabbes me the way Raindrops has on Scars, or Hey U on Crazy Itch Radio.
Summer Dem was my definite Junto stand-out, but I definitely get what you're saying. Rooty is my favorite album of theirs for sure. My biggest issue with Junto was that the ballads were awful and mulled down the album, and the Jaxx usually do ballads pretty well! Lights Go Down from Crazy Itch Radio is one of my favorite songs... ever!
Can't Do Without you is amazing. I guess the next Bleachers song will be Wild Heart!
I need to listen to Chris Brown's and Blake Shelton's albums
Both the songs have great hooks.
They're not perfect albums, but probably my favorite from each artist

I've heard of one song from Broken Bells and that's it.
That song that Zune always forces me to listen to.
Bated Breath
32. Something Shakira? Or Xtina.
31. Pour It Up
Heard a lot about Aphex Twins, though I never really tried to get into them cuz their whole thing looks so clunky and too abstract.
Are those pictures of your own copies of the album?
Sorry Blame my computer problems. Instead of church it needs to e taken to the dumb.
Which song have you heard from Broken Bells? The High Road? You might like the new album.
You should listen to Shotgun Rider. I'm glad I took a listen, it's really good and well since he's been m.i.a. I guess I have to plug it.
It is abstract, still good though. Try Liars from the next set though if you're looking for electro. They're more fun.
And yes I thought since I don't have sexy graphics, why not show off my sexy collection.
Yes CDs you look so good!

There's no shame in enjoying Bennett and Gaga. Definitely no shame in enjoying Sonic Highways, even if it isn't my favorite Foos album (and if Taylor Hawkins wasn't more than competent, Dave would definitely be playing drums...Taylor is freaking awesome at the drums). And DEFINITELY no shame in being taken to church. Maybe there's a bit of shame in liking Derulo, but I won't hold that against you.
That's good since there may be more Gaga and Bennett
It's not my favorite Foo album either. That's Wasting Light or The Colour... and Everlong will always remain their best song, but Sonic Highways is good. Taylor is good, I just think it's funny that Dave doesn't play, yet goes around occasionally guesting on other records.
Jason's album is so goofy and heavy-handed it's hard not to like. But thanks, I appreciate the out, I'll take it

Promises was one of the few sons I liked off the album. Take Me to Church, Can't Do Without You and Bated Breath are even better.
I like Jhene's album, but it doesn't deliver any amazing stand out songs. The other songs you listed are amazing

Shotgun Rider. Zunebrate is trying his best to get me into that song but I don't know.
X is my second fave from that album next to Autumn Leaves
LISTEN TO SHOTGUN RIDER!!!! How's that for a Zunebrate impression?
Seriously though, it's a great song. Incorrect second favorite from X but I will let it slide because Diplo tracks are always great.

It's a pretty great alum. I would recommend it if you're into the scuzzy stuff.

Bated Breath is amazing. So is Can't Do It Without You! But mess at Supernatural for Mariah - that was the only song from her that I didn't like.
I'll look into some of these albums next
Not the only Mariah song you didn't like Oh well, there's more so it's not a Bet sized mess.
Caribou opening tracks are always the best though

You are right there. They do have some pretty great ballads. I think my favorite (if it counts as a ballad) is Gimme Something True
35. Break Free (feat. Zedd) - Ariana Grande - My Everything
"THIS. IS. The part when Isay ANAwhanA! I'mstrongerthanIbeenbefore!" One of the best choruses of the year! Ariana's sci-fi masterpiece of a song is so joyous and fizzy it's impossible not to like. It's also the best song and video never released by Britney Spears, which makes it one of the best songs and videos of the year.
The video also had this thing!
Plus, the best use of projectile boobs in I don't know how long
Like most of Broke With Expensive Taste (and unlike Azealia's actual persona strangely) it's very subtle. It's not explosive like Ice Princess, or Yung Rapunxel, or even Soda; instead, it slides by on a slightly trippy beat, a song so smooth I missed it the first couple listens. It was my loss, JFK is one of the most tightly focused and brilliant tracks on the album and of the year: there aren't any beats, notes, or verses that are out of place and everything about JFK feels so carefully placed and deployed that it's easy to get caught up in the glide of the song without realizing how great it is. Make no mistake though, it is one of the best, the way the beat fades out around 2:50, only to come back more layered and stronger than ever is a showstopper.
33. Wild Heart - Bleachers - Strange Desire
Just like "Break Free" could've been a Britney single if Britney was just starting, "Wild Heart" sounds like a cut from Springsteen's "Born In The USA" if it came out today and wasn't as concerned with politics. It's an enormous and shimmering track that would be a stand-out in any year.
32. Lonely Tonight (feat. Ashley Monroe) - Blake Shelton - Bringing Back The Sunshine
It's a great duet between Blake and one of Miranda's Pistol Annies. That's kind of selling Ashley Monroe short, but that's probably what she's best known for. She has great chemistry with Blake though, their duet from Ashley's album "You Ain't Dolly (And You Ain't Porter)" was as fun and playful as "Lonely Tonight" is damaged and wanting.
31. Magic - Coldplay - Ghost Stories
"No I don't, no I don't, no I don't, want anybody else but you," is one of the simplest and sweetest choruses of the year. "Magic" is typical Coldplay and it isn't. It's Chris singing like a goofy puppy-dog proclaiming his loyalty and love and is probably eye-roll worthy from some. BUT, that's not the whole story. Instead of being the arena filling anthem many people want and expect from Coldplay, it's an intimate and almost downcast and restrained little song. There are some beautiful moments here especially as the song progresses on that rolling bassline, the way it shimmers during the bridge right before Chris proclaims he still believes in Magic is Unfortunately, on the album, those puppy dog feelings don't last and he's cast adrift in "Oceans" as his love finds herself in "Another's Arms." A couple of the elements in "Magic" also appear through the album, after the break-up happened, making it feel like the "Magic" was just a set-up for the rest of the album, a downer of a realization that is different for Coldplay.
Coldplay also delivered one of the year's best videos with his one.
35. An artist who has appeared previously returns, and is out for blood; but needs to cut it out.
34. A singer gets jazzy on it
33. A R&B singer declares her dominance and superiority on this Hit-Boy produced track
32. AN alt-rocker
31. Brandy makes her second and last appearance!
Another one that I sadly got into later in the year. I feel even worse about sleeping on it because it's one of the best hip-hop albums of the year after a couple listens. It's an interesting blend of newer and classic hip-hop. Quality stuff.
40. Rustie - Green Language
Rustie doesn't really disappoint even when he kind of disappoints. Green Language is a solid electronic album, at it's best sounding like the soundtrack to a high octane racing game set 300 years from now, and just another par for the course experimental electronic album at it's worst. He seems to be growing his sound beyond the neon coated video game fantasy land of his debut to a more hip-hop inspired sound. The majority of the album is sleek and lush and a headrush in the best possible way, check the Danny Brown featuring "Attak" for evidence of this.
39. Thee Oh Sees - Drop
They're such a fun band. They make some of the best and most experimental garage rock. Actually, I'm not sure if you could call them garage rock since they have throw in some synthesizers, brass, and woodwinds at will and 'Drop' is more polished sounding than some of their other albums. Still though, 'Drop' maintains the unrestrained, loose, slightly psychedelic and vaguely malicious sound these guys have made their trademark even though it's my understanding they broke up.
38. Liars - Mess
If someone went to make an album full of some of the most demented dance music ever put to disc, it would probably sound something like Mess. At times, the album sounds as if Radiohead actually lived on Earth and cared to make music people could enjoy without having to listen to a couple dozen times, or if Disclosure completely lost it and decided to make their version of ARTPOP. Mess seems to be composed from electronic equipment that was short-circuiting at the time of recording. Strangely enough, even if it does lack insulation, Mess does have some pretty catchy songs and hooks, it's an exciting listen!
37. Katy B - Little Red
It's a bit of a step-down from her last album, but Katy B has incredible quality control and still offered up some white-hot bangers here on 'Little Red.' I think she misses out on some success because her music is so cool and polished that it may be hard to find some rough edges to latch onto to connect with the music, but it really is extremely high quality stuff with the right investment. There are a couple clunkers (a hook as generic as "fill me. with emotions." has no business on a Katy B album and Sampha's contribution to "Play" is like hearing Drake try and cover "Ain't It Fun" (he just sounds awkward and out of place), but the alum is so propulsive the mistakes are gone quickly and forgotten in favor of the towering highs: the hook on "I Like You" will stick around long after the album finishes, and just about song this year (including Little Red's tracks) kind of loses when compared to "Crying For No Reason"
Hints
36. You would probably never need to buy pens again if you had this artist
35. It's an album by a country vet. Truck Yeah!
34. An album that is perfectly timed.
33. There is an anglerfish on the cover
32. A surprising self-titled album that's annoying to type.
They're not perfect albums, but probably my favorite from each artist
I didn't like Neon Light at first, but I listened to that & Lonely Tonight yesterday and they were good
I liked Love More too, I'll try to get to both albums when there's a lull in new music this year
oh, and you have Lonely Tonight at #32 JFK and Break Free
I like Crying For No Reason too but I haven't heard Katy B's album yet
By the way, try to check out Front Porch Step & the #20-15 update of my Top 100 if you like Turnover
