My looks might not always come together as much as I would like sometimes, but I always get compliments on my sweaters. Secret is to shop the women's section at any store, get em cheap and pair them with more expensive men's pieces.
For example, I hit up womens> sweaters on target and with a 20 second scroll arrived at:
[1] [2] [3] [4]
The 4th shows how far it can be pushed. Really creates some visual interest. I find the ones designed for hips/longer length are the most interesting on a male's frame. Hit up a grandmother's closet or goodwill to try the look for little to no cost.
