METHCUS was popular there, and she at least had several eras of relevance over there as opposed to Smelly having one era when anyone gave a **** about her in the States. Before that, if you weren't singing, "It's getting hot in herrrreeee, so take off all your clothes," and didn't have a band-aid underneath your eye, Nelly was completely ignored here.

Besides, Europe isn't exactly the best place to brag about relevance considering A) How many pop stars you guys recycle on an annual basis alone and B) Unless you're a boy band, it's really hard to maintain a career while only being relevant in Europe.
