You're missing the point. Bey is helping to promote this industry. No, she's not personally kicking the cub in the head with her stiletto, but there is a history of abuse these animals suffer that lead them to the lifestyle pictured. There are plenty of nature preservations where this kind of interaction is perfectly fine, but I don't think she was at one of them. If I'm wrong I don't mind being corrected.
And yes, the people that stormed in here with "who cares about animals" clearly have stan goggles on to even say something so ****ing stupid. And my position is far from leftist. Respecting and helping to educate people about animal abuse is not leftist. I'm not throwing paint or tar of fur or leather wearers. But if through the conversation change could be made to increase the livelihood and health of these animals, then that's all I hope for.
. This is when stan mentality goes too far. People put some public figure who they'll never meet, who doesn't even know they exist, whose only interaction with them is getting money when they buy their music, above morals and ethics.
