beyonce is a bigger star because she's all over the place. touring, doing magazine covers, endorsements, commercials, just generally making herself visible to paparazzi. em sits in his studio in detroit and writes lyrics 24/7. hes not looking to make money or raise his profile. he was all over the media when he was younger, he doesnt want that anymore. he doesnt want to be visible.
lose yourself, which was released before any beyonce solo songs, and before the inception of itunes has sold more than 6 million digital copies. that is the very definition of standing the test of time. Stan is referenced all over the internet DAILY. 'will the real slim shady please stand up' is a well known phrase. without me was JUST used to promote a movie 2 summers ago.
drunk in love is not eclipsing ANYTHING in this lifetime
let alone the most consistently successful artist of this generation.
this is my last post arguing about this because i dont know or care who the 'most accomplished artist of our generation' is. but the lies were getting to be a biT too much.
