The Video:
We see flickering footage of Miley wearing a pink sparkly wig, at what seems to be a dance club. We hear whispers and aaahs, and then a filtered instrumental of D.U.I. plays in the background and we hear Miley saying over the flickering footage “What happened? Where have I been?” and then a white noise rises and ends the instrumental, putting a stop to the introduction of the video.
“2005” fades into the screen.
D.U.I. starts playing and we see a car pull up next to a work building, the driver gets out and pulls the door for Miley, she has sunglasses on and long brunette hair and she’s wearing formal clothing, she’s also holding books and papers. The screen switch to the Miley sees, we see her walking and looking down at the papers and at the top of the paper we read “Ms. Emily Cropper’s assignment; http://itanimulli.com (illuminati backwards)” above written steps that aren’t clear enough to read.
The camera has an interface that looks like it’s a digital paparazzi-like camera shows Miley entering the building. The camera switches back to normal and films behind Miley’s back while she’s walking and people try to avoid getting into her way. Miley enters a conference room and a man standing shows her the seat she’ll be sitting at. The camera switch to the same man’s back and we see Miley nodding her head at the end of the tall table and we see the man moving his hands as if he’s explaining something. The camera changes to Miley’s back and we see the same man in front of a projector screen that has this on:

During the hook of the song, the camera goes back again to Miley’s back while she’s walking through the buildings hall, similar to what we saw earlier. Miley enters very large room no one is in, two people enter the room. We see the makeover scene. Miley’s accompanied with two people, a guy and a girl, that will help her execute the “mission.” We see blond wigs, lipsticks and more makeup stuff. The guy tries different colors with Miley’s hair, red, black, brunette and blond. The guy stops at blonde and nods. The girl applies different styles of makeup with Miley’s face, fits different dresses that look really glamorous.
Before the chorus, the songs stops a while. We see a very glamorous dress with crowd noises, slow motion scenes show the person wearing the dress dance in a dark room, heartbeat sound rise and then the chorus starts with Miley singing into a mirror, the camera moves a little and a very large crowd appears behind Miley’s back; this is suppose to reference Hannah Montana. Miley sings the chorus to the crowd, “I’m dancing under the influence of the music, I can’t control myself,” while she makes dance moves in front of her backup dancers imitating her moves. We see several of different clips of her singing to the audience, different outfits, different stage and different setup, which is suppose to cover Hannah Montana’s evolution.
During the second verse and hook, Miley pulls up to the same building again, the man opens the door for her and she enters the building. She walks into the hall and walks into the main room of the building and at the top there’s a large screen that says “+42,711,840 illuminati points.” Miley enters a conference room and a man standing shows her the seat she’ll be sitting at. The camera switch to the same man’s back and we see Miley nodding her head at the end of the tall table and we see the man moving his hands as if he’s explaining something. The camera changes to Miley’s back and we see the same man in front of a projector screen that has this on:

The camera then switches to the same makeover room, they cut Miley’s hair and bleach it; referencing the Bangerz era.
During the chorus, Miley remakes a lot of the iconic moments from the Bangerz era appear, such as the We Can’t Stop video, Wrecking Ball video and Miley’s Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke, only this time it was played by a very old man.
At the end of the video, Miley enters the building with the illuminati points raised to 66 million, she walks in the same conference room with the first three steps Xed out except the last one ‘New assignment with Project 9X.’ After going to the big large room (the makeover room) the clips shuts down, a black screen shows a text fades in “To Be Continued.”

Azealia Hosts MTV's New Years Event
Azealia has been near and far this past week on her promotional run for her hot new single Metamorph as well as her upcoming album (available for pre-order) The Dying Stars. With an upcoming special on BBC/ABC, Azealia Banks is expected to make a big splash on the upcoming weekly charts. However, she isn't done yet. Today, to ring in the new year, Azealia Banks helped out MTV by hosting the channel's yearly New Years Eve event. With the typical second most popular new years events on her hands, Azealia had a lot to do. MTV renamed the event for Azealia's hosting, giving the event the name "Metamorph Into the New Year with Azealia Banks" That's the name that appears on the guide. While hosting the event, Azealia helped give money to charities, played games with A list celebrities, performed her single Metamorph, and more. The show was a huge success for Azealia and MTV, actually surpassing Dick Clark's legendary New Years event. Reruns of the event are expected to play throughout the next month, as said in Azealia's contract with MTV.
The night's big event opened up with an extravagant performance from the one and only Azealia Banks. Performing the new hit Metamorph, Azealia Banks took the stage as the MTV announcer said "Welcome to Metamorph Into the New Year with Azealia Banks!" The lights then went down and all you saw was Azealia on stage. Azealia wore a Givenchy bodysuit made of latex and crystals. The outfit was a one of a kind, designed especially for Azealia. The outfit went down to her breasts where it then split, giving a slight, but not too much, of a reveal. Azealia's hair was heavily inspired by Cher circa 1994 with large beautiful red curls flowing out of Azealia's scalp. The look was heavily praised by fashion magazines who spoke of how Azealia continues to shock and surprise the world of fashion with her killer looks. For Azealia's makeup, she had long and exaggerated eyeliner wings extenuating her bone structure. Along with that, Azealia had a heavily powdered and contoured face to give the impression that she was a relative of an alien. At the start of the performance, smoke poured out of the stage as Azealia stood and propped most of her body weight on her left, her head leaning back and to the left with her right leg close. As Azealia began to sing, she straightened up and began to fall into a split as she sang the eerie lyrics of the hit. Dancers began to appear from the dark stage Azealia was sprawled about on. They emerged from the darkness and began to dance as Azealia moved and flipped around the stage, all while singing live. The performance ended with Azealia and the dancers getting all in a line and Azealia and the dancers all moving in sync with her head looking up, giving a sense of opulence. They then all stood at the end of the stage, Azealia raised both of her arms as if she was holding two balls of equal weight and the dancers all fell as if they were crawling up to Azealia.
The performance was heavily praised by fans and critics alike and ended up getting uploaded onto Azealia's YouTube account. After the performance, an intro the big event happened that announced all that would be happening on this big event. Azealia then appeared afterwards where she gave a monologue about what to expect. Fans sat in an audience in front of Azealia as she performed this as well as when she performed Metamorph earlier in the night. Azealia then did a giveaway where she gave away five tickets to an album listening party to five lucky fans in the audience. To win this huge gift from Azealia you had to have bought Metamorph on iTunes as well as hashtagged #MetamorphN22015. With fans throughout the stadium hoping to win the big event, only five won. Azealia called all five fans on stage where she hugged each of them and gave them their tickets with the Dying Stars cover on it to listen to the album with Azealia and the label. Each of the fans were crying but Azealia, being the saint she is, she told them to stop crying because this is a happy moment and tears aren't for sad times. Entertainment Weekly commented on her generosity towards fans by saying she is a modern Mother Teresa.
After giving away tickets and a commercial break that advertised The Dying Stars and Metamorph, Azealia's program was back again and this time she had her labelmate FKA twigs perform. After the performance, which you will read about in the future, Azealia then did another giveaway. This time you got the Metamorph Remixes EP signed by Azealia herself if you called in and donated $10 to the AIDS Research Alliance. Only the first thousand callers got signed copies but the later calls still got copies. This helped Azealia sell one hundred thousand copies of her remixes EP while also helping those in need by furthering AIDS research. After this, Azealia Banks interviewed the legendary Janet Jackson where they spoke about her return to music to which Janet said her return is imminent and soon. After the interview with Janet, Azealia played another game with all the fans in the audience. This time the game was who could get a ball in a hole on stage the fastest. Three players were brought on stage. The winner of this game would win fifteen signed copies of Metamorph with a limited edition 3D cover. The winner of the game cried as Azealia hugged them. However, knowing to not disappoint fans, the other two were declared winners as well as Azealia also gave them fifteen copies of Metamorph.
Overall, the entire event hosted by Azealia was a success. Azealia got hundreds of thousands donated for AIDS research, sold her single by tons, and even got to interview the legendary Janet Jackson. Azealia ended the night by counting as the new year rang in. Streamers then fell from the ceiling and Azealia sang Metamorph to the audience as the remix instrumental played in the background. Azealia on Capital FM
Azealia Banks landed in the UK the other day to do an interview for one of the most popular radio stations, Captial FM. The interview lasted for over an hour and resulted in Azealia getting huge praise from the locals and the radio DJs. Considering Azealia had to fly to Los Angeles to host the MTV New Years event, the radio event was done on Tuesday afternoon while Azealia was in the area. However, the exclusive interview was not aired until now. Within the interview Azealia spoke of how she came up with The Dying Stars and what it was like recording the album. She also spoke of Junglepussy and their beef, Metamorph's music video, the upcoming BBC special concert, and what it was like to have a fan go on the Kennedy Honors program and play Metamorph for an hour while giving a manifesto as to why Azealia is queen. The interview was uploaded onto YouTube where you can see Azealia's physical reactions to all the questions asked. The interview has become a huge success and GIFs of the video have run the internet wild. Along with this all, Azealia gave a performance of her song Metamorph with no beat whatsoever. Fans went wild for this. After the interview took place, the requests went up by 50% and the phone lines blew up for all the fans and listeners wanting to request Metamorph, the song that was already dominating on Capital FM.
When Azealia first sat down for the interview, the room gave her a round of applause talking about how great she is and how amazing she's been doing the past week, saying that she deserves that applause more than anybody due to all she has done. Azealia laughed and thanked those applauding. A highlight of the first part of the interview was when they asked about what it was like recording The Dying Stars. Azealia responded to this question hesitantly, not knowing how to give an answer. She stated "It was great. It was rough at first because like I have said before, I was going through a rough time while I was recording The Dying Stars. It wasn't pretty inside my head but I made it through. Recording the album helped me get in touch with my spiritual side. I went to Africa and lived with the tribes where they helped me get int touch with who I was deep inside. It helped me greatly and got me to realize what I've been doing wrong in life. I translated all that negative turned positive energy into the album. Metamorph was recorded after my trip to Ghana and after I had gotten to realize what it was like to go through a metamorphosis, like a butterfly. My metamorphosis was from depression to happiness, where I am today. For other songs, like my cover of Space Oddity for example, I recorded back in London after I had been to Africa and gained all that greatness inside my soul. I put that into what I feel is one of the best pieces I have ever done vocally. I am truly proud of and can say I treat Space Oddity like a child to me. While it is a cover, it is something special." The DJ then asked for a confirmation if the song would be on the album. Azealia responded to this by saying, "Yes it's on the Target edition of the album. However, I have big plans for the song. BIG plans."
After the discussion about the recording of The Dying Stars, Azealia was asked about something everyone wanted to know, what was the deal with her and Junglepussy? Azealia kind of gave an eye roll and stated "Look. I love some Junglepussy. I got the mixtapes. I got the singles. We just have our own problems to work out. Grown woman stuff that you guys don't need to take part in. It's not something I want the press involved in. I just want to say that I appreciate her craft and I think everything she does with music is great." Changing subjects quickly, Azealia was then asked about filming Metamorph's music video. "Well, it was amazing! I love being in New Zealand. Such a beautiful and overall magical place. I definitely want to return for future music videos. The background of the video is that I am changing through the times, going through changes. A metamorphosis. At the end I come to my full butterfly stage and realize that I love who I am and that I can be anything I want to be and I connect with the stars in the way that me and the stars will forever be aligned in that they'll guide me through life. It's a really deep video and I'm happy with the overall reaction it's gotten. I mean over thirty million views in three days is pretty exciting, in my opinion."
When asked about the BBC concert that will air tomorrow Azealia described the event as "Yes! Tomorrow! I am so excited to present it to everyone. It will star me and I will have a few special guests. Anderson Cooper will make an appearance as there will be an interview that will take place during the event. It was all filmed here in London. I will perform Metamorph, Space Oddity, and one other song. I can't tell you what that song is now though! It's all being kept a secret." When asked about the fan that went on CBS to hack the system and promote Azealia, she said "I was so scared! I was scared they'd blame me! I'm happy it's all treated as something funny that happened because I meant no harm because I didn't even know what was happening. It was insane and I'm glad the fan is facing consequences. However, a little free promo never hurt nobody"
When the interview was over, Metamorph's sales skyrocketed even higher than before. Azealia performed Metamorph in the studio where it was then uploaded onto YouTube where it has gotten a greatly positive reaction. The interview has since gotten hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube. Azealia still has a big week ahead of her with the BBC special. Azealia On Good Morning America
While promoting Metamorph and the pre-order of her upcoming album The Dying Stars, Azealia Banks appeared on Good Morning America today where she performed her lead single, Metamorph. Along with the magnificent performance, Azealia sat down for an interview where many topics were at hand. Some of which were: What single is next? Will we get another official release before the album release? What was the true meaning behind the Metamorph music video? Are Azealia and Junglepussy done forever? All those questions and more were answered within the interview. The appearance on Good Morning America drew nearly five million viewers, higher than any Good Morning America episode this week. Azealia spoke about and promoted her appearance on Good Morning America in a twit longer she sent out to her fans a few days before the event happened. In the twit longer Azealia stated "I'll be on Good Morning America on Wednesday morning! Be sure to tune in because it's something fun and special! I can't wait to do my first morning show performance since I was promoting Vibes. Can't believe that was so long ago, right? Almost six whole months! Well I'm here again and I am ready to present to the world what I can do and all the talent I have! Love all my kunts!" The tweet got over one hundred thousand retweets and favorites.
Before Azealia's interview, she did her performance. The performance was extravagant with both the hair and costuming. Azealia had long straight black hair that went to the bottom of her back. It was parted in the middle and pulled back with clips. Azealia's makeup was more extravagant than usual. She had swooping eyeliner and sparkly purple eye shadow. Along with this, Azealia had her lips painted by MAC a matching purple color. Azealia's outfit was all white. A white trench coat, open to reveal the outfit underneath. The outfit underneath was a latex white crop top as well as a latex white mini skirt. VOGUE magazine stated that the outfit reminded them of something you would see in a 90s R&B music video. At the start of the performance, there was no beat and 3 dancers in all white came out to make the beat with the sound of their feet. Azealia then rose from the stage and smoke covered it. The crowd went wild screaming for Azealia. Azealia then joined the step dance and this continued for about a minute until Azealia spoke into her head mic and began to sing the opening lines to Metamorph. The dancers then moved to behind Azealia where they gave slow moves to extenuate the beauty of the track. When the chorus came, Azealia joined the dancers and they all did very fast pace heavy choreography to the point where you could see the sweat pouring from Azealia's face. Azealia then yelled "Remix" and Nicki Minaj came out in a matching all white outfit. While rapping the verse, Azealia leaned against Nicki as the crowd went wild for her surprise appearance. During the last chorus of the song, Nicki and Azealia danced together and finished it off with their hands in the air and an applause you could hear from a mile away.
A commercial break later and it was time for Azealia to be interviewed. When called for the interview, the crowd went crazy as Azealia waved and sat down ready to be asked questions. When first sat down, the questions happened immediately almost. When asked what the next single would be, Azealia responded by saying "Well I don't plan to release another single until the album release. I do want to release a promotional single though. I plan to drop that next week. It'll be really good and it's going to be a nice way to introduce my fans to another side of the album that's yet to be heard." When asked about the title of the promotional single Azealia said "I can't believe I forgot to give a name! But the promo single I'm going to release is Space Oddity. I really enjoyed recording it and the positive response I received from it really showed that it should be given a little attention. I think that, even though it's a Target exclusive track, I still think that this track has potential for success, at least in my opinion. I want to be able to prove to everyone that I am more than a rapper. I am a singer as well. After Metamorph and Space Oddity, I feel that wish will be complete. The wish that others will understand my artistry and all my talents." Azealia was then asked if there was any rapping on the album to which she responded "There's rapping but it's not the traditional rapping you usually hear from me. It all fits the theme of Astronomy. It's really different. I think it's definitely something fans have to look forward to"
Azealia was then asked one of her least favorite questions, what was the situation between her and Junglepussy. Azealia responded to this in one sentence "That's my business, not anyone elses." This response had all of the internet talking about what Azealia meant by this. People everywhere were speculating that maybe the two rappers made up but all we know is that Azealia is covering the tabloids once again. With a quick subject change, Azealia began talking about the meaning of the Metamorph video. "It's a video about the change of one's life. The change you go through as you age and move through the times. How you must change and connect with the stars of your life. The stars can be anything from literal stars, to your mom, to your favorite artist. It's a great message that I wanted to inspire kids with."
The interview and performance was an overall success. After the interview, it was revealed everyone in the audience of three thousand would be taking home a copy of Metamorph's Remixes EP.
