I don't trust them, not so much that I'm afraid. I respect that they risk their lives to protect some people but police brutality is a real thing. I mostly don't trust white cops if I'm honest but any can be terrible. I'm not that afraid for myself I'm afraid for my brother being a black male and all. Men in my family have shared way too many experiences with the law enforcement targeting them for me not to be afraid

I deffinetly understand your worries and anxieties..police these days are truy targeting young black men way too much..or at least now its more covered in the media. (thank God for phones and cameras!)
I just hope things change and law enforcers who carry weapons get better training and get scanned and tested for not being racist and cruel

Yea training is needed. I understand the fear that comes with being a cop because you're dealing with scum criminals but there needs to be a way to subdue people without shooting them. The justice system is full of racial inequality (just look at stop&frisk) which is why black people make up the majority in incarcerations(I know racists love to bring up these numbers).Not because black people are more prone to commit crime, like its in our blood or something. Its also due to the portrayal in the media that make people afraid. To many things need to change it gives me a headache thinking about it

Right!! This exactly! @ these people acting as if the cops NEVER disproportionately suspect minorities because of appearance. They should be thankful that they haven't been. For some of us, it's literally GUILTY until proven Innocent as far as a cop's perception goes. NYPD's harassment of minority youth as young as 10 is case in point. "Just be a good citizen" my ass.

OT: Yes. I find it hard to trust many of them. And they annoy me. It doesn't help that, even though a lot of them might not charge you with anything serious, they hunt drivers down to hand out tickets to make their stupid quota. Meter maids prowl and will boot your car with a swiftness. Just one of MANY total abuses of the power they're supposed to protect people with.
