Just curious... does it agitate any of you that our lady X hasn't toured since 2006? Every other pop girl (from icon status to flavor of the month) has toured since then BUT Christina. It frustrates me! I want/need to see her live during the X6 era.

Agitate is putting it lightly I don't know why she won't do any sort of tour, I mean she doesn't even have to do a full fledged one even a small theater tour or something would be fine. I really don't know what the problem is seeing as how she obviously still loves performing. Just the thought that I may never go to one of her tours

It's sad, but maybe she only wants to tour, if she can get everything right, and put her material in the right context.

I think she just doesn't like the touring life(the constant traveling, etc.). She hasn't toured since having kids, so that probably plays a part in it. Like Guernica said, she won't even do a small scale tour for us. She is willing to fly around the world to do a one night/one hour show for billionaires, yet she can't do concerts for her actual fans. Her doing the Malaysia TT Festival and the NO Jazz Festival tells me that she is more willing now. Madonna took a 7-8 year break between tours in her career, so let's hope Xtina does a tour for this next album.

Yeah touring doesn't seem appealing to her at all, all the travel with the kids, a lot of hard work. When she doesn't need to, she's rich and done so before at the height of her career.

It's unfortunate for us though lol. I think Vegas would have been perfect if she hopped on that first.

I think it upsets me most because touring could really help her solidify her standing with her fanbase. Besides her actual music, it's the best way for an artist to really connect with his or her fans. The fans she has left have been extremely loyal and dedicated to her through all of her career highs and lows--it would be nice if we actually had the option to see her live.

And it's not because she CAN'T tour. While it's unreasonable to think she could fill arenas anymore, she could still do smaller venues. I wonder if her career would be any different today had she actually done at least small scale tours for one of her last 2 eras.

I totally agree. She has plenty of hardcore fans that would love to see her tour so the demand is definitely still there but I guess she wasn't as enthusiastic during the last two eras, especially since it is draining to be constantly traveling, rehearsing, etc. And the fact that she could make a $Million+ a night easily from private concerts doesn’t help either lol.

Hopefully she is more inspired to do a tour this era.

I'm okay waiting for the album later in the year. BUT she better at least give us 1 decent performance on The Voice. and it better be for the lead single, not some random track with a fellow voice coach.

So much lost potential with Lotus and The Voice. She should have released Just A Fool as the lead single, done promo with Blake and then released Let The Be Love. Let's hope her team learns from all of this and sees that ballads are what connect with The Voice audience the most.
