Stop lying to yourself, the only things worth listening to from that decade are Mariah, Madonna, Kylie, Britney, and cheesy European dance music.

Meh. I'm a gay who listens to pop music more than anything else. Unless we're talking Evanescence, I don't generally listen to anything that you can consider a "band."
Might be pathetic and shameful but I make no bones about it.

90's is so underrated musically. There was so much experimentation and so many different genres which were popular.
Spice Girls, Kylie, Madonna, Nirvana, No Doubt, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alanis Morisette, Sinead O Connor, Oasis, Britney..
Then we move onto the 90s house takeover, all the cheesy teen-bop songs etc.
Love it!

No disrespect, but the bolded are SO not my thing.
I like my tea basic, thx!

It's okay. I was like that until I started to give some bands a try and got into old music. Some old "rock" is kinda pop-ish so you might like it. Give Heart Of Glass by Blondie a try! (they are not from the 90's but still)
