towards other minorities, such as Hispanic/Asian/Indian people?
Quote:
Racism: a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
I'd like to use Azealia's tweet as an example:
Quote:
"Yo I got cursed out by an asian tonight.
lmao never seen an asian person with so much personality"
why are some of you guys saying that it is okay for a black person to be racist toward other races?
this is coming from my perspective, as I've seen some people saying I shouldn't be offended by those tweets (I am Hispanic), just because it's coming from another minority.
do I have the right to feel insulted by those tweets? or is it okay for black to insult our people?
And no, it's not okay for people to be racist to anyone regardless of race or color. And likewise it's not ok to generalize and lump all people of a race into the same category just because one person of that race sets a bad example.
No but the things Azealia was saying there are hardly "racist", this is like calling the girl a homophobe when she's literally homo Stop trying to take the focus off of the real racist, Iggy Azalea.
