But I'm sleep tho, don't @ me

meh, nicki is just kinda wack and not as good as you think. No amount of "mean hip hop fans" handwringing is gonna change that.

Watched a special where some of Cosby's alleged victims told their stories and watching them break down in tears describing what he did to them
Azealia Banks is an absolutely VILE person for trying to turn that situation into a joke. God forbid that actually happened to those (26 and counting!) women b/c anyone who tries to downplay that is SCUM. And maybe if she didn't burn every damn bridge she crosses in the industry, she would be one of the main "faces" of Hip-Hop instead of the bitch she spends her day tweeting about.

Half them Bill Cosby allegations sound hella suspect.
Them chicks were looking for a come up and it fell through. What, Bill didnt rape any successful chicks?
One of them is about a 15 year old at the Playboy Mansion. What is a 15 year old doing in the Playboy Mansion.
These borads are all turnin up for a check
I dont believe you, you need more people. (or at least evidence)

And a lot of people are on some **** ****, with this whole Iggy thing.
If youre so mad that Iggy's successful. How bout you go buy Azaelia Banks' album, buy Jean Grae's album.
MC Lye is putting out an album sooon if I remember correctly.
Mad at the Grammys yet you call the Soul Train Awards and the BET Awards irrelevant. Frankie Beverly and Maze arent gonna get a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award anytime soon.
Nope, you just bitch and complain on Twitter.
FOH.

The Bill Cosby thing annoys me, because the man is on his way out, and suddenly 30 people are coming out of the woodwork with rape allegations. It's a sad thing because he enjoyed a career as such a positive role model for black men, and now he's leaving this world as a rapist.
If this is true, I wish they would of came out against him within 10 years of his action, at least. Not 30 and 40 years later.
@Smoke
No one is mad @ Iggy's success. If you can't see the problem with Iggy Azalea being labeled as "The Queen of Hip Hop" by major publications like Forbes and etc then shame on you.

1) One of the victims said he raped her long before this huge scandal + she tried to put it in her biography but it was confirmed that the publisher wouldn't let her. Some of the women are already successful and well-known.
2) Rapists love to choose victims who they have power over and can belittle, which would explain why he didn't (mostly) go after powerful women in the industry.
3) it boggles my mind how people defend Cosby with a) statute of limitations and b) all of the cases not being legit. But no one actually mentions whether or not he raped someone You might be right Big S, but if even half of the claims are legit that's a problem. Even if he only raped one woman, that's a problem. And it's a disgusting act regardless of the time period it took place.

I agree with point 3. If he raped anyone, it's a shame. But at this very moment, I can also understand Smoke's POV. I'm a bit disdainful of the victims waiting decades to say something about it.

Wait... what?
Now that's ****ed up and misinformed. But it's been common knowledge that the cacs at Forbes, and Spin and Pitchfork can't and shouldnt speak for rap. Now that I can get behind.
But it's like the girl could help being white lmao.

I repeat, Iggy's single has already peaked and It never got above #29. It only sold 350k which is 200k less then Pills n potions and it never went top 20 on radio. Reclassified sold 9,000 during black friday week as opposed to Azaelia Banks' 11,000 in 3 days.
Iggy is literally over. She had her year and I don't see her doing much outside of this year. Her heavily promoted collab with JLO sold 210k aswell. She ain't seeing **** and that tour will flop too. Back to the outback she goes.
My favorite flamebait article about Icky was "Hip Hop Is white hot". It made me laugh.

Yes but that's why white people should take discussions about racism seriously but not personally. People of color are not mad at white people at all, but they are still feeling the heat of the system of oppression.

True, I wish they had come forward with it sooner. Because now he can't really lose anything his reputation, sure, but he can live comfy without that. I'm just thinking though:
It takes some people years and years and YEARS to come out of the closet for sonething as harmless as being gay. So just imagine why someone would take that same amount of time (or longer) to admit they've been raped. To put it bluntly, someone got you into a vulnerable state and ****ed you without your permission. And left you there, without caring if you live or die. They did something that will scar you for life and will affect you, your family, and everyone around you. Perhaps if society reacted differently to rape victims, people would reveal it sooner.

And again, this only makes me more disdainful of the women. If he raped 30 women beginning 50 years ago, someone should of said something about, sorry. I cannot yet understand how one can't muster up something inside of them to say something about a very high profile monster before he rapes someone else.
**** I know that if Bill Cosby raped me I'm gonna say something to somebody. I've had people that were relatively close to me experience sexual crimes, they all sad something quickly and things were rectified, so I can't imagine 30 women choosing to be silent about it.

Coming out the closet is a choice it's nothing you have to do !
Getting raped is a whole different story that's something that you should come out and say
