I do a music blog when I have the time, you may have seen me post my charts (All Stations + Recurrents, ranked by Impressions, for Active Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Mainstream Rock, and Triple A Rock).

If they do, hopefully it's at least two weeks each. I don't like one-week Number Ones.

So damn lucky, the first #1 I remember when I first started following BB was Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man" last spring. Im 18 BTW. Most people on this site weren't alive then lol.

I am probably the oldest, but Music is one of four topics I blog about. And I'm a Mass Comm Grad Student down here at USF in Tampa, so writing is my thing, and I love following the music charts. It hurts that my favorite format, Active Rock, can't seem to get mainstream play anymore though.

Does anyone know when the last time a song went top ten without reaching the Top 50 of pop radio was?

I was thinking Hot Boy but I'm not really in a place to check and see if it reached the top ten before pop started playing it, if they played it enough to get it in the Top 50...

You are right with Hot Boy. That song never entered top 50 on pop.

Before that, it was "We Could Be Dead By Tomorrow" by Soko.

BS is on lock for it's 6th week atop hot 100. Xmas week depends on the gap of sales between UF and BS.

Well, even more recently than that, we had "We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow" so no.

EDIT: didn't see umich's post

Question that I'm sure was answered before but recently crossed my mind. Is "On Demand" a contribution to "Streaming" or does Billboard calculate them completely separately. Like does 1 million in On Demand equal to 1 million in streaming

I think they are equal. We've been back and forth, because I thought On Demand was weighed more heavily.

I feel like On Demand streams should count worth three on YouTube, since On Demand is just for the song, but others on here disagree with me.

I think Animals, not Shake It Off, will fall out of the Top 10. Animals is losing points in all three parts of the formula. Shake It Off is gaining in sales again. I may be wrong though.

Like I think what I'm asking is for example last week you have 3 million on demand and 6 million streams. Then this week you gain 2 million on demand. Does that automatically mean 8 million streams as well or are they completely separate. Confusing I know
