It just clicked to me that every season/episodes that are good in AHS don't stay in one time. I think the reason why this season and the last were so much worse than the first two were that they stayed more in one time frame than Murder House and Asylum. I mean look, this episode was one of the only ones this season with major flash backs and flash forwards and it was by far the best episode yet. I think for next season they need to make sure they add time jumps because I think that adds a nice complexity to the plot line.

On friday nights? shows don't last on fridays.. AHS is so shady at least put queen on Mondays with I love lucy

I went back and watched some episodes of Coven and I'm actually liking it a lot more than I did when it was airing. Though I will never forgive Ryan for what he did to the best character in the series, Misty.
Coven gets a lot of hate but it had some really great characters.

Agreed, both Misty and Sister Mary Eunice are my favourite characters so of course I was devastated when Lily wasn't going to play a major character this season. She pulls off her characters so well.
I honestly can't get into this season at all aside from Dandy/Gloria (who are Asylum levels of amazing)
The rest... Well... I liked Twisty. That's about it. This season sucks

I'm happy it's back on track. Desiree and Maggie better gather Stanley when they're back to Jupiter; can't wait. I must say that Elsa's tie-in was a bit messy though. Stanley is a fraud, how did she make it?
