Speaking of "Lucy," I watched it last night. It was essentially a really,
really stupid version of "The Tree of Life" mixed with "Transcendence" starring Johnny Depp. But at least it was entertaining, unlike "The Tree of Life" or "Transcendence." You know what really grinds my gears about Scarlett Johansson? She's a good actress, but I give her a lot of criticism because she constantly chooses these roles devoid of any type of emotion, with characters that have limited to zero personality. The first 20 minutes of "Lucy" was good, because she was actually able to have a character. She was good in "Don Jon" because she was able to have a character. She needs to fire her agent. All the roles going to bad actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and boring actresses like Amy Adams, should be going to Scarlett Johansson. Did Woody Allen curse her or something?
