Well DH replaced Teenage Dream as Katy's best song so obviously Sarah deserves a lot of praise but she's not Bonnie. Those 3 songs you mentioned are super similar, she's a one trick pony.

don't really know why you feel the need to come for me twice in less than 24 hours, but it's not really cute

bonnie is no where on OOTB, which remains her best album lyrically. i'm not saying katy is an amazing songwriter, in fact i don't know why the quality of her songs has declined so terribly, but her at her best and most unique was FAR before bonnie ever came in.

so maybe you can take your own advice





anyway, speaking of her older stuff, i've been listening to the tracks we do have of her (A) album (that i have renamed Long Shot ). they are SO good, ugh. Simple alone >>>>>

Its because her lyrical style has changed. She tried to write some sensitive preachy inspiration tracks but they don't suit her. I'm not saying her intent to write preachy stuff isnt genuine, but the stuff that comes straight out of her that's more specific and targeted is better.
