misery, free, dear diary, my vietnam, funhouse, unwind, waiting for love, stop falling, humble neighborhoods, lonely girl, i got money now, eventually, mean, stupid girls, walk away, numb, gone to california, ...

12 things we didn't talk about enough in 2014
rose ave. by You+Me. In October of this year, Alecia Moore—better known as Pink—paired up with Canadian folk singer Dallas Green—better known as City and Colour—to release a folk album. Although it debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, it was promoted as a passion project for Moore rather than a big release. However, rose ave. may be the most important album Moore has ever made. The songs are all written by Moore and Green and paired with minimal orchestration, which allows Moore’s powerhouse vocals to shine without the typical distraction of dance or pop beats. But be warned: After you hear her smooth harmonies with Green, there’s a chance you’ll never want her to do an album without him again.

They are right, Rose Ave was very important but overlooked unfortunately.
Tbh I just want a new album. Rose Ave was a dream come true so now I'm happy with everything as long as it's yummy, fun and a mystery box!

^ not so sure about mysterybox... it always turns out to just be pop/rock i'd like for her to tackle a musical theme, so that there's not only lyrically and visually a common thread throughout the album, but also with the music. something ambitious, grand and different.

I like to tell myself that all she wanted to do was MAKE the album. Commercial/critical success would've been an added bonus.

Here's my new theory as far as album releases go:
2000: Can't Take Me Home
2001: M!ssundaztood
2003: Try This
2006: I'm Not Dead
2008: Funhouse
This Decade:
2010: Greatest Hits... So Far!!!
2012: The Truth About Love
2014: Rose Ave.
2015: New Album
2017: New Album
2019: New Album
Do you agree with this pattern? The only bug in this is 'GHSF' which came out in 2010. Still it's a compilation album.

3 more albums this decade?
I think two top.
One next year, WW tour in 2016.
Another one at the end of 2017/beginning of 2018 followed by another tour.

I want P!nk to be a new face of Armani. If I ever imagined P!nk as a face of some high fashion brand, that would probably be Armani. And that show in Paris gave me hope. I think that Armani's style definitely suit her.

I've always imagined her endorsing power suits for women.

a couple years later, i realize TTAL is in the weaker half of her discography. half of it is really good and among her best, but the other half is terrible (like that horrid song with eminem). and there are some bops (TL, WOS) that are cute, but silly coming from a woman of her caliber.
if she'd put the seven bonus tracks on the album instead, rearranging things, it could've been different, because each of them is better than a lot of the standard edition
