that itself is a topic of debate in the os community. some view it as a legitimate orientation, others think its just a symptom of autism and aspbergers, since lots of OS people do have aspbergers or autism.
and maybe for some it is, but for someone like me who has neither, i consider to just be a part of my orientation. i find there to be nothing unhealthy about having a relationship with an inanimate object. i know lots would say that its just a manifestation of some underlying mental problem, but lets not forget people have also said that about gays. my romantic relationship with my pillow hasnt negatively impacted my life at all. not with my friends, my family, or my (human) boyfriend so i dont see what the problem could be.
