It's racist because he ASSUMED that just because he is black, he would like "12 years a Slave", "Django" and movies that featured "Kevin Hart". It could be true, but you can't just assume that it's the case just because someone is black.

I'm glad you enjoy movies about your people. However the movies about your people that you enjoy definitely aren't negatives like "slavery" is to black people in America. It's racist to assume it. He could like any movie, not just black movies, he's saying with that statement that all black people love black movies just because black people are in it.
