You're probably right. Even if Britney Jean was a masterpiece it'd probably still underperform in the best circumstances. But it's still a shame that she didn't deliver for the fans.

Either way, I'm excited for B9. I don't want Britney to talk about it AT ALL. BJ suffered from inflated fan expectations as a result of rumors we heard about producers and content before the album was out and the whole personal schtick. I want us all to be surprised with who's on it and when it's coming, especially since lots of us have a feeling she's farther along w/ it than she lets on (which is good). All we've gotten is one studio picture, the Giorgio and Iggy collab and possibly Max Martin being on it, but that's all we need to know until early next year when the Giorgio song is out and that's when the fire shall be sparked.

Britney lacks what ltwil said..interest..shes absent from the media...thats the biggest mistake... people wont care for someone who hasnt been in the spot for 6 years..some of her songs can still be successful but overall we ll never ''win''....
