I don't remember the last time a #1 frontrunner was dropped all the way down to #4 or #5 on the lists, though. Plus, many insiders are saying that Tatum outshone Carrell. There are several supporters, so I see him getting in, but Keaton, Redmayne, Cumberbatch and Oyelowo are all getting universal acclaim for their performances. Carrell seems to be a mixed bag.

They retconned EU. So Daisy, John, and Oscar are all playing brand new characters (along with the non-returning rest of the cast). Apparently no one is related to any of the old characters.
