But understandable. I just can't put my finger on it...something just feels weird like there's been a shift for some reason.
I do like the diversity but i do AGREE that you can be diverse and still cohesive. Anaconda threw things off for me.
PNP I said before andI'll say it again. I wasn't sold 100% but understood the audience it was intended for. Bed of slay completely shows the conclusion of PNP so I understand that cohesion.
To each its own.
Nicki is smart...that's my concern I almost feel as though all these shifts might not play off to an audience that I wanted to be open to her.
We shall see in a few weeks.

Glad you like Only...I hope not as she's had smashes with Bang bang and virally Anaconda. She did get a #2 hit and a solid legitimate top 5 hit as well so she has that covered

Yeah I doubt she'll flop. She works hard and promotes but my concern is that I wanted TPP to be an epic era where she had a mature sophisticated look, image, attitude with critical and commercial acclaim.
I REALLY want this album to complete the trinity of classic female rap albums (Hard core, Lauryn Hill Miseducation I know it's r&b as it only has 3 raps songs but the GP considers it hip hop, and TPP).
I hope she can hit 1M sales...anything after that is icing on the cake.
Although lowkey: The naked truth is a slept on classic.

So true and I'm glad you are being honest because i notice that when she was killing it people were fine with the stats but once she underperforms then people don't care about it.
Of course we want her to be successful. Iwant her to break records and part of that comes from chart successand continued platinum sales and top 10s, Headlining tours etc.
So i agree and I don't think it's a bad thing to stan for quantity AND quality.

Slay of Truths is really great IMO
PNP is only good as part 1 of slay of truths
Anaconda lyrically
but it made it's impact whether for good/bad reasons it still did.

Yeah, i can't eversee her flopping just underperforming at worse.
I really think Bang bang WILL be her first grammy. I just feel it.
But I would like for her to get ones in 2016 for her album too. As an artist, I'm sure she would love to receive something like that to show appreciation for the album and not just a song too
