Of course Katy makes more, she puts her name on everything for the sake of money, like eyelashes and potato chips. Bruno on the other hand cares more about the music and thus makes his money from that.
The answer is obviously Bruno. Bruno is a worldwide/global success and is quite popular is large portions of Asia, a place where Katy struggles to find success. For example, when Bruno held a concert in Korea, some of the country's most popular musicians attended and supported him. He is also universally respected as a musician and no one doubts his talent.
And like someone said, being a man of color in pop makes his success more impressive.

Also Katy does fine in Asia. Prism was certified in China (a country that sells nearly no music at all).

Of course I know what it means, but considering Katy cares more about the money than Bruno and thus does things for money Bruno doesn't, it's not fair to count her numerous endorsements. It's why I decided to only take into account their musical success, to even out the field.
Doing fine in one country =/= "doing fine in Asia" since Asia has billions of people and dozens of countries. And actually, China has a pretty respectable music market. In fact, one of the most successful digital songs of all time comes Chinese musician Jay Chou, who has sold more albums than Katy.

The OP clearly asked who was more successful sis. I gave the factual answer. Sure you can make up excuses like Bruno doesn't have endorsements and whatnot, but that still doesn't change the fact Katy is still more successful 
Katy isn't massive in Asia but she's not a fail there. China was just an example i used.

His net worth will grow bigger by the end of the year since the second leg of North America has crossed more than 50m in 2014. And collecting $70m from just creating music, songwriting and producing is impressive. Music success, bruno is far bigger, and the OP was clear in his question, if you want to add the eyelashes & chips endorsements, that's cool.

Wait she sold 10k in China, oh impressive! D&H is 2× Diamond in Philippines, that's 300k.
UJ went Platinum in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and 2xPlatinum in Philippines. Plus he sells more albums in Japan, each of D&H and UJ have exceeded 200k sales there.

The OP is asking, who is more successful when it comes to music and the answer is Bruno. He's not asking who is wealthier which is subjective? And that site celebritynetworth has Rihanna at 140m so by the end of the year, Katy will probably surpass her, so does it mean she is more successful than Rihanna when it comes to music sales? Actually when you look at it, Katy's net worth is questionable just like her twitter followers.
Musically, bruno is doing better.
