The depth in some areas of this game are amazing. The game definitely lacks surface appeal but the depth in a lot of areas is amazing.

So some leaks were made today.

Apparently hidden in the game files were some images of the old World Screen, and it was an actual world that you could rotate and choose the location you wanted to live.

Also, the different neighbourhoods were much bigger than the mini ones we have now.

Guesses are EA forced the developers to rush the world, which is why it was scrapped and we ended up with the mini-worlds we have now.

Hopefully they try and bring some of these back. I like the look of the little cul de sac.

Apparently, clicking on the houses didn't actually take you to a lot, it was just a country that you clicked that then loaded a larger world.

I'd love a Cul De Sac in the Sims 4 though. Shouldn't be too hard to do, but who knows.

Apparently, the "mini worlds" in the final stages were also supposed to be slightly larger as well.

The smallest world in Willow Creek is the one near the beach that has two lots. In the original files, it was supposed to have 7 houses.



Shows how rushed they were to finish. Those houses on the Water would have been amazing.

I think if the fixed the World feature up a bit, and made it look more like a Country rather than showing 6 houses that actually loads a whole world, would have been a really good way to go

They should have used the World idea for the Sims 4 in it's current state. They could have separated each mini-world as a country showing the houses in 3D. People would have been more likely to accept this as to why the worlds are broken up, rather than a 2D map.
