You go to upstate New York and you'll find a lot of country fans and country radio stations, but down here around the NYC metro area, it's like a lost cause. I wanna go to the country festival that's happening next summer, but idk who I'd go with. My school has a lot of international students, mostly Chinese, Koreans, and Indians (which most of the ones I know listen to a lot of mainstream hip hop with a lot of beats and bass), so that doesn't help whatsoever.

That sounds like my school. It's all orientals and Indians here who only listen to EDM.

My school's been getting all hip-hop/rap and EDM/house for their concerts here recently. Icona Pop, Mac Miller, Diplo, Ludacris, etc. It's not even rappers that I enjoy The University at Buffalo had The Band Perry, Gloriana, and Citizen Cope last year; at least they switch it up once in a while. To think that my school had The Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Legend, and Bruno Mars in years past

I'd love it if they brought a country artist here. It'd have to be someone with some crossover appeal, and Carrie's way too expensive for my school's budget so....
