Simple logic should be easy to understand. 2 years have passed and each passing day is counted in her third year of no new music. So she is in her third year of no new music, but hasn't crossed it to be considered the 4th or the other way around to considered 2th since 2 years are already gone.

How are y'all counting 2012 as the first year with no new music and she'd JUST released an album tho? This would technically be the beginning of the second year with no new music.

Those annual releases have y'all spoiled AF. Most others have to wait a minimal two years between EVERY era.

True, but I've never seen a thread where a Navy got all upset over people being 'obsessed' with Rihanna, though I've seen it a few times with Beyonce.

If a thread like that has been made, I'll retract the statement; just seems a bit...odd to me.

EDIT: About your edit - Well, everyone else already pointed out the mathematical error in the thread title...no need for me to comment on that. There's also only so many times you can say "Excited for #R8! " before you have to ask yourself if you actually mean it, or you're just saying it to try to believe it again.
