She'll eventually get what's due for her.
The problem is that there are always other clear winners in the years she's nominated.
2014: Best Actress - Cate Blanchett was the obvious choice
2013: Best Supporting Actress - Anne Hathaway was the most obvious choice, but even Sally Field had a better chance of winning for her role in Lincoln. The Master wasn't a super well-known film
2011: Best Supporting Actress - tough year: she was up against co-star Melissa Leo, who won & was a more integral/interesting part of the movie they were in (The Fighter). Her other strong competition was Helena Bonham Carter from the acclaimed Best Picture winner that year, The King's Speech
2009: Best Supporting Actress - another really tough year: Penélope Cruz ended up winning, but basically everyone in the category this year had a shot. Her co-star in Doubt, Viola Davis, was also nominated. Viola's role was more captivating IMO. I didn't find Amy's role in Doubt to be super interesting. She basically played a run-of-the-mill nun.
2006: Best Supporting Actress - she wasn't super well-known at this time and she was competing with Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain) and actresses from Capote & The Constant Gardener... 2 movies with more clout than Junebug.
