It wasn't in the beginning (see BTGOG) but she went through a period of therapy etc. that changed the course of the album.

Funny you mention that. I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit on the radio today. It's literally him SCREAMING nonsense the whole time (an albino, a mosquito...what?). And yet it's one of the most iconic songs of all time. Poor Gaga, she can't get anything right.

Katy's team will probably loosen their reigns on her (as well as reduce her budget considerably) for her next era, since TIHWD, Birthday, Unconditionally (all safe, generic sure fire "hits") all flopped despite the promo. It could be interesting. I think Katy has potential.

Why does she think screaming gibberish is "artistic" and "innovative" and her "best work to date"? Serious question. She has made every album seem like it's brilliant and literally every album features MORE screaming than the last (like she's letting out the anger from all her failure).
