Yeah, I think it will happen. Taylor has said (at the VMAs) that she is a big fan of his. Then they spent time together on the Voice, and then both were on UK X-Factor and almost certainly interacted again.
Didn't Taylor recently say she wants to work with Pharrell too? So now they personally got to know each other a bit and subsequently say they want to work together, they must have got on well together. I don't think it will happen soon, as Taylor is still promoting 1989 but I would not be surprised to see them work together on her next album or a side project.
Listened to Vance Joy's album in full for the first time today. I'd only ever heard Riptide before. Interesting stuff!
I know Taylor has said Riptide was like her fav song of the year when she covered it at Live Lounge, but does anyone know where/when she first discovered Vance/Riptide? We know her discovering Ed was hearing Lego House ( or maybe The A Team idk I can't remember right now) on the radio when she was in Australia. I'm sure it will come up in interviews in the next year and such when they talk about her tour more. Just realised I kind of answered my own question.
