I can't really help you with relationship advice, my knowledge is that you just gotta live your life the best you can and then the right one will eventually come.
And the right one doesn't necessarily mean the 'one', but the right one for that time.
People come and go for a reason, and few are meant to stay.
But ya, just... do what you feel like doing, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you have a plan so that's a good start.
It's like I haven't been sad in quite a long time and now all the thoughts are invading my mind.
