I didn't say she controlled her Vevo account. Not people thinking that I expected Nicki to upload her videos. Mess. the excuse that was used was what I was referring to.
There are MANY things she doesn't do; however, she DOES have control over her career unlike some of our faves...which you want to point out that opinion at your convenience and if we are going to believe that she didn't approve and was talked to about the concept then so be it...
To me it's clear.
Controversy to get people talking. Mission accomplished...but will it translate into single and album sales or set things back. Time will tell

Of course because many believe it was insincere as the video is up now people hearing about it will want to check it out thus feeding into the marketing stunt as the video is there for them to comment (good/bad) on. Obviously the haters will pounce but there are some objective fans that see the disconnect between her "apology" and her need to keep the video on vevo.
She's not exaclty pulling Blank Space views to where it would be a poor choice to remove it.
therefore, it only adds to the suspicion of intentionally doing this to draw attention.
