You guys don't seem to understand that a song doesn't have to sound the same for it to be plagarism.

Ok so, let's just say that this back up dancer wrote the music for XO. That back up dancer worked on it with one of Beyonce's producers and then without the backup dancers knowledge bey's producer took it to beyonce and they altered it and changed it to suit what Beyonce wanted. See, the BLUEPRINT and concept of the song was taken. It wasn't an original creation. The backup dancer deserves some credit for the work he/she put in even if the song doesn't sound the same. The blueprint was his/hers.

Imagine if someone broke into JK rolwings house before harry potter was released. Read the novel and then wrote a book about a wizard that went to a school to learn magic and changed the events around and added in different things - The concept, the blueprint was stolen despite the fact the end product may seem totally different.

People on ATRL look at everything on the most basic of basic and simplistic levels.

How are you gonna talk down to people on ATRL, saying they look at everything with "basic" and "simplistic" levels, but you're spreading bs? They share no melodies and the song is not sampled in XO. He has no case. Everyone has a song about love. Are they plagiarized? No. They have to share a melody and/or be sampled in a song for plagiarism to come into play.

Oh please. I'm completely relaxed and informed on the plagiarism of music. This case is not a case of that. In order for a song to be considered plagiarism it has to have the same melody of another and or feature an unapproved sample.
