In this case it might affect the single's chart peak. I assume her label wanted Blank Space to have significant spins on radio before releasing the video so that it can get enough stream to push it further up. Also, it is #1 on iTunes, so it's doing fine in that department. By leaking it, it kinda disrupts this scheme that the label had planned out.
Considering also the fact that SIO is still strong, I feel like it was too early for that to happen.
But I really wish I'm wrong though, and I hope they at least upload it on YouTube now if they don't take it down
I don't know how this works.
