She was broke emotionally and released Birthday to seems happy, this is so her. When guys leave her she start doing things to appear more happy than usual.

But then came this is how we do, the song she thinks its a perfect summer hit (and she is right in someway) but i can't deal, even with the moderate charts and VEVO.

PRISM underperformed cause Katy made the wrong choices. Birthday is flawless and yes, the entire mini era was a mess but with the perfect campaign and a good music video it could've been at least a moderate hit like TOTGA. I still think WOA or LL should've taken it's place but what can we do now.
Releasing Uncle was a huge mistake. It's pretty bland for a second or fifth single and tbh it should've never seen the light of day. I'm not saying it's bad, just not single worthy.
And then we have TIHWD. Not even going to try with that one.

My point still stands.

All the international promo it had and the struggle to sell 2M, tragic second single DH would have outsold Roar WW had it taken this slot. Not to mention it reinforced the common belief that she can't sing.

I'm almost sure Uncle had a promo budget as big as Roar and look where it ended up...

Ryan Tedder and TMS are good options for ha.
Maybe FKA if she wants something more experimental. And she's a fan.

Well, she worked with Bloodshy and Klas, both new for her.

And you forgot Stargate.
Besides, I need at least one Luke/Max song on the next one and I don't mind Greg. When she writes with him it's her most organic work.

Why is she partying in Morocco and Paris. I need her to put some real work in this EP/mini release.

It probably means that her recent studio sessions are just her tweaking leftovers from PRISM ala DU and PoM. Oh well.
