But yeah that was my main point, Gaga couldn't sing an album like 1989, its not her style at all.
I thought ARTPOP was supposed to be the fun album? And tbh it is. Isn't only Dope preachy? And probably Artpop, Venus and Applause have artsy lyrics.

Yes, it is the fun album. But it's the way she presented the album that made it "artsy," at least to me. But I'll miss the artsy lyrics too, if they really are going.

Well that's exactly my problem with this era. The music was great, the representation of it wasn't.

How was it not great? Because it was artsy? That's actually one of the reasons I love the era.

Even the worst song on 1989 is better than the best song on ARTPOP.
Actually.

I wouldn't say Dope is preachy, it's not like Hair, it is about how much she loves Taylor and how sorry she is for her addiction to Dope and all the problems it has caused

This plus the fact that she replaced Gaga in you signature. It's too early for this level of shade.
But really, why are you posting this here? To get a rise out of us? To tell us yet again how much you dislike ARTPOP? I mean, of course you are entitled to your opinion, but what's the point of spreading negativity towards an album in the base of the artist that made said album? I really don't get it.

Am I the only one who isn't excited for Monster4Life in the slightest?
It seems sooo far away and the thought that it could turn into a new ARTPOP era with meltdowns, dragging and scalping left and right, constant waiting etc, makes it worse

Applause for you.
Some could say it was even flamebait and trollish to post that here but I won't be a Judas in here.
Judas is the best BTW video!

I think Monster4Life will only be a song, not the concept of the album. We already had that kinda with BTW, don't worry.
Right now is the fun part where we can dream what could happen with the next era!

I guess what I'll really miss is her artsy, creative persona from ARTPOP. I'm not gonna lie, Gaga is the one that really got me into art, with ARTPOP, and now I absolutely love it. My best days are spent at art museums, and they're my first stop when going to new cities. I just love to analyze a piece and find meaning in it that I may not have noticed upon first inspection. I get butterflies looking at a new piece I like, and when I find one I love, I find myself staring in awe at it, my jaw literally dropping at times. And if I must be frank, it can all be traced back to Gaga, whom I am forever thankful for this.
