I understand how social media has ruined the music industry in ways. Like, I don't hate Rihanna, its just some of the things she says irritate me and I think she has issues. I would never even know of those issues if she wasn't on Twitter or Instagram. She is so likable in passing and without social media fans would only know of her in passing or through her music which is completely the best image for her.

Don't we all have issues? You're literally coming for Rihanna for being human, and it's not like your fave isn't a mess on social media herself (namely Instagram).
I personally live for Rih's twitter and her previous Instagram, it helps us see her personality and makes her more human and accessible, it also becomes a point of contact between fans and artists.
