Because for one, IF it's a pop song it may tarnish TPP's already tarnished image & two, follow ups are never as good as the original.

Turn Me On may have been amazing, but there's a huge chance this won't be.

Another reason why Hey Mama is important is because David Guetta's albums sell loads. Last one sold over 4M album copies and like 40M singles. It's a bit album to be featured on, reaching a bigger audience than any of Nicki's albums. Don't you forget that David Guetta is bigger than Nicki globally.
