- Yongguk dropped out of "Laws of the Jungle", who according to TS Entertainment, couldn't make it due to "busy schedules".
- A few weeks ago, Daehyun posted this on SNS, "Golden grass field, river & silence. Children's sunset. I want to go back to my house from 8 years ago." Which he later on deleted. For those who don't know, Daehyun usually smiles, talks a lot to fans during events/concerts/fansigns, but after he posted this, B.A.P performed a couple of events and he was not smiling at all and seeemed really down.
- On Oct 19, B.A.P performed in an event however Himchan did not attend. TS Entertainment/B.A.P did not let fans know that Himchan would not attend. Many Himchan biased fansites were angry as they came to take photos/videos of him but TS Ent/B.A.P did not let fans know in advance that Himchan would not attend. However after, Himchan, Daehyun and TS Entertainment tweeted Himchan could not attend due to "personal reasons".
- On Oct 21, Daehyun posted an IG video of him singing a song with the lyrics "On the way home The bright sunlight Shines through the window Melt My Heart Again". The video also had a caption, "Don't know whether it's the first or the last".
- B.A.P's 1000th day since debut was on Oct 22. And as far as I know, kpop groups and their fans would make a great deal out of it. Most kpop groups would at least tweet or post a video or something thanking their fans for their support and whatever, but B.A.P did not say anything at all regards to their 1000th day since debut.
- B.A.P were supposed to performed on Oct 25 at the Korean Music Wave in Beijing however they cancelled this schedule a day before.
- Early today, their fancafe cleared out all future schedules. So basically the schedule is blank. They are supposed to perform in Mexico for Music Bank, go on a South American tour and have a Japanese tour as well.
- B.A.P is supposed to released a Japanese full album next month (I think in early to mid november). They've released individual photos of each member however they stopped releasing more teasers. The tracklist hasn't been given. And usually, the PV of Japanese releases is out roughly a month before but no news of the Japanese album whether they've halted it or postponed....
I've lost count of how many times I've said this, but ANY K-pop act would do well in the UK. The boyband/girlband thing is still massive here (hell, the girl who's written a good number of Little Mix's hits wrote Red Light) and also musically, a lot of K-pop releases would fit really well in the British music scene. I don't know why they don't even try.
f(x) and 2NE1 especially have UK success written all over them. They fit the market so much.
Even Red Velvet and possibly TTS with the Holler era could make it as well.
Somehow, I don't see K-pop boybands doing as well. EXO would fail, I think the boybands are too highly tailored to the Asian market. WINNER would also fail, I just don't see anyone in the UK liking them.
The girl groups seem to have much more international potential.
CCM has the right idea with Shannon, the big 3 should start looking for more Korean British trainees to make it easier to break into the market.

I dunno, I feel WINNER might have a shot if they were given a more upbeat song than Empty or Coloring. Their image is pretty well suited to the UK market. EXO wouldn't work though, no larger groups would judging by how poorly that abysmal 8 member X Factor group is doing both on the show and in the media
You're right though, girl groups would probably stand a better chance. I've always felt like f(x) would be the group to push in the UK given the opportunity. I used to think the same about Kara before Jicole left, so many of their title tracks could've slayed our charts.
whether CL will succeed or flop its meant to be seen.... she might seem to have everything according to u but u are too naive if u believe that's all u need... sometimes a song/artists is a hit or miss despite all the efforts... we could call it luck tbh....
all of u should lower your expectation a little and also have in mind that she doesn't have to go number one to be a success... even a mediocre hit and some buzz around her name is also a success... its not like any kpop artist breaks into U.S... Psy is different and he is seen as a joke....
As for why kpop companies don't try UK... well maybe because its too risky and maybe in the end it doesnt even worth it..... better stay safe in korea/china/japan than spend lots of money over nothing...
VIXX proving they were always the superior 2012-debuting boy group. EXO where you at? B.A.P. where you at?
Boop! Poor EXO.

Your R In Love is the worst song I have ever heard by her. Even the title...
The best tracks are Style, her Lana attempt - Wildest Dreams & New Romance. The rest are middling to average. Where are the Red's? She ain't getting no coins from me for this release
Red is an infinitely better album, but there's some songs on the album on par with some of her great songs, in my opinion anyway. Wildest Dreams and Style being some of them, as you mentioned.

I think the thing with the male groups is the femininity. I don't mean that against them, but I do agree I can't imagine a group of boys in high fashion and make-up would become trendy in the UK market. Obviously it has been done before, with Culture Club (Boy George) and Dead or Alive (Pete Burns), but it's different then and now. Which is even more strange. I'm not saying I'd be against it, obviously not, but I can imagine the general public probably would be.
Wasn't T-ara N4 created for US promotions? They should try promoting in the UK. 4 members is a perfect amount of members and the run-of-the-mill EDM bops T-ara serve would smash here.

The thing with WINNER is, I don't know if their look/concept would work in the UK. The UK loves a specific type of boyband. 1D, 5SOS, Union J, JLS, McBusted etc. Put WINNER next to them and they don't fit in. I think they would struggle to find an audience.
Kara maybe, but f(x) definitely. Krystal and Amber are much better at English and the whole group has a unique/exotic look and adaptable concept. Same with 2NE1.
I suspect if TTS promoted an English version of Holler with that MV, they may do well if radio supported them.
I can imagine Capital FM giving a lot of airplay to K-pop artists if they came over.

The UK is less of a risk than the US though. It's more open to new artists, and it's the 3rd biggest market after the US and Japan, so it seems like a logical step to me.
If a K-Pop act succeeded in the UK, they'd make more money than they would in China in record sales/touring etc.

i was about to say because they are Feminine but then 1D came to mind... and nothing screams more gay than them but they have a huge following....
so i thought it a little more and i think its because of the race.... man are more open to different races as long as the woman is good looking and have nice body.... but woman arent so open tbh... if a kpop girl group appears u will hear guys saying they are hot or i would bang her even if they dont stan for them but i dont think girls would be so open to stan for a full of asian group .... especially if theya re more EXO and less 2pm
i mean we had destiny child but i dont remember black backstreet boys...
Now if ya'll believe T-ARA N4 were ever gonna be more than a pool act, but question CL's chances @ breaking the market... I just don't know what to say sistrens
I wouldn't be shocked if T-ARA N4 are never active ever again. There's not a demand for them. Poor Dani.
RE: Jack!/Taylor's album. Yeah, I was like, "It would be a good EP" but as a 16 track album I cannot ever again.

It's not so much questioning CL's chances in general, more so questioning her success with Scooter and how she's going to be treated/labelled. Also the UK and US are two completely different markets to try to crack.
Yeah, the standout tracks would be a cute EP. Or, there's enough I enjoy to make a smaller standard album, of say 9/10 tracks. I agree the 16 dragged on.
