We know the discussion is inevitable. Normal leaks we can handle the discussion but this release is one of the most anticipated and likely biggest sellers of the year that drives traffic to the site to a critical limit with not just guests but our members too. We moderators can't control the access to guests, only admins can, so this is what us mods have to unfortunately do to keep the site from being completely inaccessible. In extreme situations we have to assess and do what we find is best in that moment.

that's what atrl did during Roar/Applause and things went normally, why can't we just have that again and be able to post Taylor Swift threads?

The fact that so many jerks are bumping my old blogs is getting ridiculous and I can't just keep putting people on my ignore list. People need to start getting warned because it's getting out of control and it's getting exhausting to see all my stuff get bumped up by a bunch of insecure jerks.

It could take ages before the leak is finally complete and has made the rounds. We don't want to block guests for longer than a few hours.
