Now all of a sudden you about women empowering themselves so where are her abundant song topics on the other serious burdens women face in education, illiteracy, domestic violence, women expected to objectify themselves in hip hop in order to make it among other things???

Exactly! That's why I mostly understand BEYONCE (album) because, yes, she did sing about sex (with her husband, which there's nothing wrong with that) but she also showed how complex and strong women can be. She showed more dimensions to a woman's sexuality than just twerking on stage. But some of the other girls strictly sell sex.
I'm not even gonna go any further with Nicki. There's a lot of things I could say about her own lyrics, her image, etc. but that's a whole other discussion for another day. Besides, I still like her.
