Don't let anyone's negativity dampen your excitement! I've loved all 3 songs so far and know the album tracks will be amazing too.
This is so different from Taylor, for some long time fans it could be too much for them. I've been a fan since 2008 and although the new sound is weird to hear its also very refreshing and I love the output she's given so far!
The only reason it's worrisome is because Taylor decided it was good enough to be a promo single for the album. It doesn't speak highly of the other tracks
It's a fun bop though but nothing compared to IKYWT or even 22.
I think she just wanted to release one Jack track & one Ryan track as promo singles to show appreciation for their work. You know damn well all Max tracks are gonna be released as real singles.
WTNY is like background music. It's not something you'd put on your playlist, but wouldn't mind hearing it if it suddenly were played in the background as you were shopping or as your plane was landing, or taking a poopoo. It comes as atmospheric music as you're transitioning from one place to another or traveling somewhere.
