Well, here we are. My Top 50 Songs of 2008 countdown has been running for quite a bit, starting in early December. And now, it is the 28th of December. The countdown has gone through a variety of artists. These range from great stars from the past, like Janet Jackson and Britney Spears, to debut artists of 2008, like Tyga and Flo Rida. Pop starlets, like Rihanna and the girls of Danity Kane, to rappers like Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. I'm sure there are a lot of artists whose absence on my countdown will be bashed (I would think mainly Leona Lewis, Katy Perry, and Beyonce), but hey. It's my favorite songs of 2008, not everyone else's. And speaking of favorite songs, we are now at my favorite of 2008. Those are songs 50 to 2. There was one song which stood above them all, though. Even when I first heard this song, I knew it would be my favorite song for a while. And my, was I right. Just after a few days of its release, I knew this song would end up becoming my number one song of 2008. You're probably thinking, "What song could he be hyping up this much?!?!?" Well, here it is. There's only one thing I have to say:
Sssssssooooooooooooooooo
keeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....
LOVE LOCKDOWN :wors hip:

1. Love Lockdown - Kanye West
This is truly my favorite song of 2008. Sorry in advance if I write too much, by the, way, because there's too much to say about Love Lockdown!!! Well, back in early September, news broke out that two singles would be released to iTunes in a few days. These were Swagga Like Us (to be released as Jay-Z's first single from The Blueprint 3) and a song that was never heard of until now, Love Lockdown by Kanye West. Being such a fan of Graduation and his latest features (Swagga Like Us and Put On), I couldn't wait to hear some new Kanye West material. But even by looking at the name of the song, I was skeptical if this was going to be the same Kanye West we all know and love (or hate). How can you I became even more excited when I heard that he was performing on the VMAs. And when it was confirmed he was performing Love Lockdown, I couldn't wait!!! After watching the performance, my jaw was literally on the ground. I was stunned at how good Kanye West did, when he was singing!!! And for sure, I couldn't wait for the song to leak/release!!!! Sadly, the song wasn't released on the date it was speculated to on iTunes. Even after the speculated day of release, I searched daily for Love Lockdown on iTunes. Then, Kanye released the official song on his blog. It was great........except for the chorus. Yet, I still played it endlessly. And finally, on September 16th, Love Lockdown hit the iTunes Store. I was so happy!!!!!! Except, I couldn't buy it!!!! A few hours later, I found out why. Kanye released a new, mastered version of Love Lockdown. And it was so much better that the original, which was great!!!! The chorus was fixed, and it was re-mixed. I love how Kanye added distortion to the system overload part. That's genius right there!! And I just love his singing voice with the Auto-Tune, as you can see from my other write-ups. The song was then released to iTunes two days later. The mastered version, that is. Then, when he performed it live at Ellen, I listened to it, and that was even better than the mastered version!!!! Kanye just kept improving himself. Sadly, the video is too intelectual to interest me. I liked Love Lockdown so much, that I made three verses to the song, like Kanye has, and recorded them using a demo of Auto-Tune Evo!!! And, I used it for a school project!!! The instrumental for Love Lockdown was my instrumental for a Cell Theory Rap I did in biology . THAT's how much I liked Love Lockdown!!!! Another thing that's so good about Love Lockdown is that it never gets old!! Every listen, for me, doesn't get worse, like a lot of other songs. Even to this day, it's still one of my favorite songs right now!!! And the LMFAO remix is good too!!!! I wish that was on iTunes!!! But who cares, cause Love Lockdown is my favorite song of 2008!!!!!!!!
So, that's it for my favorite songs!!! Tomorrow, I'll continue my application recap, and who knows. I may have a surprise up my sleeve......

Actually guys, I've thought about my chart. I had an album chart planned, but this has been always keeping me up late. So, I'm sorry to say, but the funs tops here. You all know my number one song. and that's the end of it. Good bye.
And to those who look forward to the apps, I'm sorry I never did the last set, but this is too much time for me.
