Where does the 3.7M figure factor from? I'm trying to understand. I know MT doesn't track everywhere but are there any receipts as to what it sold in those not tracked by MT?

Since the album was released digital only via iTunes all the sales weren't reported as some charts don't count them. She's past 3.6M+ definitely.

I'm actually really impressed by her total sales in comparison to JT and 20/20 Experience Part One. His return was much awaited and anticipated. He opened huge with almost a million copies. Had two Top 5 singles which were huge hits overall (Suit & Tie and Mirrors), with four singles released overall. Much promoted and he performed on multiple outlets. Ended up selling 2.5M+.

Beyoncé has already sold almost 2.1M and it hasn't even been a year. No Grammys and the rerelease is coming. I can see award wins, a discount, and the Platinum Edition pushing it close 2.5M. If she is to do a Part 2 (Knowles-Carter) it could go platinum. All in all, this era has been quite impressive.
