We Monsters are always up for a massive expose, though. If Katy performs it will be the biggest scandal in music since Ashley Simpson at SNL. I, for one, am perchedT for the show.
This could work. Madonna's half time show was better than Bey's because she had better stage props, and her queenly entrance will not soon be forgotten. I need for Katy to come floating in on a candy cloud or something silly.

WTF @ so many jealous stans of less successful acts commenting on how 'embarrassing' it'll be to cover up their inner envy. The Super Bowl is always lipsynced anyway so everything would be fine.
I'd be here for Rihanna and Coldplay doing a collab Performance, what kind of slayage tho...
As for katy, she has the hits, the public likes her and she has the looks. Her performance skills will only be a problem if the camera stays too much time on her and not on the great stage set up they should build for her
For real though, if Katy actually sings at the Superbowl, she needs to work on her breathing technique unless she wants to struggle during the transition of the songs, just imagine her singing Firework at the end and her voice cracking so hard, druggies will try to snort it.
Good luck to her... she'll need it. I'm referring to more than her talent, though. Every SB halftime show is a disaster waiting to happen, tbh, and everything that can go wrong usually does go wrong.

Well that's not true at all.....its more often live than not.
But on a serious note -- Katy Perry's halftime show will be fine. She's too safe and boring for anything to be an absolute disaster. But everyone will tune in hoping to see a mess, like when Lindsay Lohan hosted SNL a couple years ago.
