Ok so look. Grammys are voted by people that aren't even in the rap field. Great rappers always get snubbed, look at Nas. Grammys do not equate respect. Nicki has respect because she raps on songs that feature respect rappers & will outrap them (Monster)

Nicki got hot off of mixtapes & even though she was popular & made bops she wasn't respected because she sold sex and made funny voices. But after being on countless features and I'm not talking about Pop songs. She gained respect because she's a dope MC. She's the top girl for five years, & one of the top emcees period man or woman you can't NOT respect that. Nicki will get on the grimiest mixtape out & rap like her lace front depended on it and people respect it.
