True, but at least they have considered all of the options available to draw that conclusion. Their opinion may be inaccurate or "weak", but they have analyzed the options themselves and are informed of the options.
Using a music example, if someone thinks 'My Everything' is the album of the year that's fine. If that person listened to ten mainstream female pop albums that year, and came to that conclusion, that opinion is not very informed. If someone listened to one hundred albums in various genres, by various artists, mainstream and not mainstream, and then came to the conclusion that 'My Everything' is the album of the year, then that's great. They analyzed a variety of options and chose that album based on whatever reason.
Although, I do not believe, that if many people decided to expose themselves to one hundred albums from a variety of genres that they would come to that conclusion, but that is just my personal belief.
