Pre-B probably. There was a lot of hype from the Superbowl, the tour, rumours of her filming music videos, etc. and no one had heard a peep from her. They just knew a new album would be coming and had no idea when.
I feel with Rihanna, she's sitting on so many albums and so many hit singles for a 26 year old that the thirst for new content isn't really there for the GP. If they want to listen to Rihanna they'll just go to Spotify, iTunes, their iPod, etc. and listen to her catalogue of hits that are still relatively recent. It's mostly only her stans who are like "I neeeeed her new ****" because she saturated the market/radio stations for so many years that (for non-stans) it doesn't really seem like that long ago that Diamonds and Stay were everywhere. Jump still gets played on the radio and in clubs in Australia. In fact I heard it in the grocery store this morning. The hype can't be that big if people still don't feel like she's gone anywhere (radio wise)
