Your exactly right, BJ is not going to affect her career. In fact, it gives Britney all the more reason to come back stronger. People seem to forget that FF gave her some of her biggest radio hits in years, Scream and Shout was a global smash, and she is getting respect and awards left right and enter.

Having one flop era after 15 years of success means nothing. Ain't like she's flopping with her third or fourth album. Bio Jean was the worst thing that could happen to her flawless discography, but she'll make it through the rain.
Britney will never be over. She could easily slay if she promoted and put out amazing material. She's a star the GP loves.. literally every article I read is full of comments praising her for turning her life around and how people are rooting for her. If she wanted to dominate, she could. And I hope she starts to crave that fame and attention again and next era she will deliver like we know she can.

Exaggeration maybe, but she is still getting relevant awards, People's choice awards, Vanguard etc. They don't give Vanguards to just anyone. You need to be respected and viewed as a legend.

Why do people say Hold It Against Me flopped? I don't understand. It's definitely forgotten (only because it was overshadowed by the other two singles), but so are a lot of hit songs from the past 3 years and a hit is a hit.
It sold just as much as some "iconic" and "impactful" singles that were actually promoted. It did quite well WW (Top 10 in 22 countries, 3.6M WW). It's one of her biggest hits in Japan too.
Even if you like that abomination of an album, you gotta admit it was the worst thing that happened to her career.

One of my favourite videos and the song is my third favourite , I like the performances of it as well If the video was released quicker it could have gone 2X platinum.
I tend to forget this, but what an amazing video! She looks freakin' weird, especially her face, during half of the video, but if it wasn't for that and the stupid ads... It could actually be a Top3 video of hers.

People only say it was a "flop" because it fell down hard after the first 15 days, due to zero promo an the video only being released a month later. However, that shouldn't change what it accomplished on those first 15 days.
