How is that off topic. I am just pointing out flawed logic that touring doesn't count as promotional appearances since several millions of GP members will see an appearance on a TV show as opposed to tours which are seen by maybe 1 or 2 million people total who are usually already fans and own the album.

Considering Katy's extremely extensive touring and what seems like endless promo schedule I would hope Prism could eventually outsell it! Unapologetic's promotion was basically three appearances in the US and UK and one in Germany. Pretty sure Katy did triple that in Australia alone

IFPI includes streams in their year-end list and considering Roar had huge Vevo views it probably didn't sell anywhere near 10 million last year actually.

Unapologetic was bigger worldwide. Singles, albums, tour boxscores, everything.

Assuming Prism had/will have higher totals in one/all of these departments when all is said and done, Unapologetic was still more global, specially around Europe, which is as much if not more important than it's actual total sales.
