Well I'm not so sure tbh. Cheryl has never been the kind of innovative artist you know... The only experimental song that she's done was 3 Words. It was in 2009 and we are in 2014. Where is the evolution ? It's disappointing, I mean it's gonna be her 4th album...

I really wanted the second single to be a banger with a massive performance for the live shows.

I like it better than CSL on first listen but that doesn't say much considering I really hated CSL in the beginning. The chorus on IDC isn't big enough and as a result the whole song just plods along a bit until the bridge. From the bridge onwards it's really good, though. It's a bit underwhelming but I quite like it after a couple of listens.

It has a real earworm quality and toe-tap-ability. The production might have benefitted from a few dynamic highs and lows, but I appreciate its throwback-y, vaguely Stock Aitken Waterman-y, groove.

I quite like it. Definitely a step up from CSL and I dig the almost 8bit-esque sound. I would have LOVED for the "hey"s featured in the chorus to be more prominent but that's my only complaint as of now. Maybe I'm just grateful I actually enjoy the song seeing as CSL really put me off the era and I was afraid I wouldn't care for anything that followed, but this is working for me.

It's okay but not sure whether it will hit #1 in the UK. Under the Sun was an equally happy song (but obviously better) and second single as well and kinda underperformed. She always picks these summer-y songs too late.
