One thing is certain at this point. No matter how it's gonna end with this week's BB position, I found myself humming or even singing C2C songs all freakin day - doesn't matter if I'm at work or at the tennis courts, eating or taking a shower. I just do. And whenever people ask me what are you singing, I'm saying - well, nothing special, just jazz standards. Their faces...
And just today I showed my co worker the Bang Bang video and she said - what's on her head? But then she was completely taken by the performance and had goosebumps when Gaga got emotional at the end. She loved it and said she had no idea Gaga can sing so well.

 You better convert her!
In other news, my dad heard about C2C on the radio this weekend, and I think I convinced him to buy it (I told him to buy it on Sunday, so it counts towards those first-week sales )

Off-topic:

I wish U2 put this album cover on iTunes. It looks awesome (and hot ).

EDIT: Found out the two are father and son. No longer hot, and I feel kind of embarrassed for originally thinking so.

I'm now convinced that Aura was supposed to be the lead single from ARTPOP. Someone on GagaDaily posted about this, and it makes complete sense. Just Dance and Bad Romance were both the lead singles off their respective albums. They were also the first tracks on each album. Marry the Night, which we know was slated to be the lead single from Born This Way, is also track number one on its album. And then we have Aura, the first track on ARTPOP. I think you can piece together what that implies. It's too bad, because I think that really would have been the absolute smash that would have started the era off right, especially if they had continued the Paparazzi/Telephone saga with its video. Ah well.

Yes, a smash. The chorus is absolutely golden, and the verses echo the craziness people love and expect from Gaga. Plus, a Beyoncé remix to fit the video - if they included her in the video that is - would boost the song even more. I could see it doing at least as well as Applause in the US, but far better in Europe.

The chorus is GLOBAL SMASH material. The rest of the song, not at all. It was never going to happen.

 No lies spotted.

And I thought it was confirmed long time ago that Aura was indeed one of the choices for the lead single.

The chorus is one of the best she's written and sung. It's heavenly, but the verses and intro would NOT have made for a hit song, let alone a smash hit that a lead single needs to be.

If she plans to continue the trilogy (though Aura can be seen as the conclusion), I'm glad she didn't on ARTPOP. Commercially, it would have been a lackluster ending (rest in peace, ARTPOP, you're looking good and feeling fine with all of the angels in heaven now ).

Aura's chorus was definitely a smash waiting to happen. The verses though
I'm still not convinced it would've flopped though.

The only song I feel would've absolutely smashed as the lead single is Gypsy. Sexxx Dreams would've been a good follow-up, and then Applause.

Aura's chorus is FLAWLESS. One of the best choruses EVER. It's unfortunate the rest of the song isn't on the same level as the chorus

I expected the album to get old on me but it hasn't and I honestly don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
